Casa Catalina Basic Need Center Volunteers
Casa Catalina, a Catholic Charities basic needs center and food pantry, has been providing free food and service to Back of The Yards residents for 30 years. On Wednesdays from 8:30 am -4:30 pm, volunteers are needed to assist in all aspects of the food pantry (i.e. unloading the truck, filling bags with non-perishable food items, repacking bread and other foods, assisting customers, distributing food for clients, and helping to clean up). Must be at least high school students and able to do heavy lifting. [Immigrants & Refugees]
