Round Lake Food Pantry Distribution
Catholic Charities has opened a food pantry in Round Lake, Illinois, at 101 N Cedar Lake Road. The pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays with two shifts - one from 10 am to noon and the other from 2 - 4 pm. People in need of food call in and register. Once registered, the information is sent to the Food Pantry where a you, the volunteer, gather the food items and deliver them to the waiting vehicle.
COVID protocols are in place to keep you safe. As with all employees who enter the building, you will be required to answer screening questions and have your temperature taken each time you volunteer. Clients wait in their vehicle as you load the items into it. Note that we are delivering the food to a vehicle that is outside. Dress warmly for this one!
