SMART Tutoring Program

S.M.A.R.T. (Students Making A Real Transition) is a free after-school program run by the Catholic Charities West Regional Office in Cicero to provide 5th-8th grade students with homework help along with fun and educational activities. Students in the Cicero community may need extra assistance they may not receive at home, as English may not be the primary language of their family or their parents may work full time. As a volunteer, you can help students make a transition to improved academic performance as they develop meaningful friendships in a safe environment.

Mondays and Tuesdays, 3 PM- 5:30 PM

A background check and VIRTUS training are only required for volunteers that are 18 and older.
