Senior Food and Nutrition Program Warehouse Food Handler
Volunteers needed to pre-pack boxes of food for over 12,000 individuals each month. Participants would be responsible for preparing the boxes and placing them on the assembly line. Food products need to be placed in shopping carts in order to run the assembly line. Participants are responsible for placing food items according to their category and quantity in the boxes. Once the pre-packed boxes are completed they will be placed on pallets for distribution. The warehouse also offers volunteer opportunities for groups on at least 2 Saturdays of the month and we will be able accommodate groups for more days, if need be.
