Group Opportunities

We welcome all groups to make a meaningful impact through service at Catholic Charities!  


We would be happy to work with you to find a team-building opportunity that advances your group's social responsibility and philanthropic goals, while supporting our community and touching the lives of many.  


We offer volunteer service opportunities that take place onsite at one of our program locations across Cook and Lake counties. Our group volunteer needs typically last 2-3 hours.  


Group Service Opportunities: 
5+ volunteers – Diaper Depot (Lake County warehouse)

5-30 volunteers – The Shared Table 
A great opportunity for high school students and corporate groups. 

10-30 volunteers – Loaves & Fishes 
Lunches can be made at Catholic Charities community kitchens (721 N. LaSalle, Chicago or 101 N Cedar Lake, Round Lake) or assembled offsite and dropped off. 
 
5-10 volunteers – Woven Together 
 
10+ volunteers – Greeting Cards to Seniors 
Open to all and a great opportunity for children and school groups!  
(Cards are included in The Shared Table delivered service) 
 

We will work with you to find a cause that your team is passionate about – oftentimes, a single project can help multiple communities. Together we can develop a plan that suits your schedule, group size, and interests. 
 
Groups of 5 or less must register directly via the volunteer portal, if your group is expected to be more than 5 volunteers please contact our Volunteer Engagement team at volunteer@catholiccharities.net.
