Senior Lunch Volunteers

Catholic Charities offers nutritous, hot meals and camaraderie to seniors at locations throughout Lake County. Volunteers are needed in a number of capacities. Before the meal, volunteers greet our senior diners at the sign-in or donation table, set up tables and chairs, set tables, and set up the buffet. During the meal volunteers help serve, aid seniors that need help, and visit with the seniors. After the meal, volunteers wipe down tables and wash the cafeteria trays and other utensils.

Our congregate meals program has the following opportunities:

NEW!  Waukegan Township – Patricia A. Jones Center  414 S. Lewis Ave. Waukegan --
Lunch shifts 10:30AM – 1:30PM -- Twice monthly

Maravela’s Banquet Hall   4 Washington St.  Ingleside --- Monthly events
Lunch shifts 10:30AM – 1:30PM   Breakfast shifts  8:45AM – 10:45AM
 
Antioch / Lake Villa Township Center   1625 Deep Lake Rd. Lake Villa --- Weekly on Wednesdays
Lunch shifts 10:30AM – 1:30PM
 
Schreiber Center   101 N. Cedar Lake Rd. Round Lake --- Weekly on Thursdays
Lunch shifts 10:30AM – 1:30PM
 
Foss Park District   1730 Lewis Ave. North Chicago, by the Police Station Twice monthly on Tuesdays
Lunch shifts 10:30AM – 1:30PM
